Alright, I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about where I am heading in my life. It's not a sudden burst of thought, but its been hidden in the back of my mind, that I am kinda losing it. It's not the stress, I don't know what it is. Maybe it is the routine of each day, the familiarirty of life as I know it. There's no spark anymore, life is going though the motions...day by day, week by week, month by month...until I die.
That said, I feel I'm a total baby in the area of web design. It's difficult for me to learn from websites as I'm not accustomed to that method. I'm also pretty slow at picking new knowledge, in the sense that it has to be repeated quite a number of times before I can understand it. Yes, I'm slow. I do want to improve, but at the same time, I give up easily. Trying to adapt and learn in a new way is difficult. I wish I had started experimenting with websites and other design software at a younger age. But then again, I didn't have that kind of exposure. I was exposed to a lot of writing and books, so I guess that's why I prefer that much more.
I haven't been updating for pretty long...the usual excuse being busy with assignments. Maybe I should stop blogging about that and blog about a PROPER life...which is rather bland at the moment. One thing nice that happened this week was Caryn came to visit me! Yay... it was nice seeing you girl. And also, I attended Yearbook AGM on Tuesday. It was nice seeing fresh faces on the team. I'm still a bit worried whther I can cope with the work but I'm hoping to stay to the end. As for aikido, there's an ice breaking camp this weekend at Dusun Eco Resort, the place where we had our ice breaking 2 years ago..where I slept with Karlson (LOL...it's not wht u think ok?) Only, this time, we stay in chalets and not tents. :) That is good to know. Should I go for grading in September? Hm...I should...then I'll have to train twice a week instead of only once. CG this week was about 'Science Theories vs Religion' ... thanks to me who thought of discussing something different. :P Quite amazingly I was able to prepare for that, and for 5l2f's discussion (with Natalie) in this same week where I had 2 submissions and 1 quiz, along with Yrbk AGM and training. Hehe. I must be going crazy. Oh yea, I saw the current beta students being rejected...4x4feet of artwork rejected...mian, that's painful.
